This DVD set is a part of the Rediscover the Joy of Learning Certification Training Program. It shows Don A. Blackerby, Ph.D., the creator of the Joy processes, applying the Joy processes to three different kinds of students. One of the students is a young man in his early 20s who has been diagnosed with multiple learning disabilites since he first started school. Another is of a 6th grader who, although very smart, has struggled in school for several years and the third is of a 50+ year old woman who wants to change careers and who cannot pass the certification exam to obtain her license. Dr. Blackerby helps each student recognize their old and limiting learning strategies and gives each of them new ways to think about learning and new learning strategies.
