Friday, August 25 is the one day per year referred to as “Varalakshmi Vratha”, which literally means the single day of the year in which the Inner Divine Archetype Lakshmi gives blessings, boons, and money. You’ll want to be sure to take advantage of this special day.

This year, I have decided to hold a 5-day intensive starting on this particular day, so we can take deeper advantage of the energy blessings this special sacred time brings.

I’m calling it a “rain of blessings / rain of money blessings” intensive, since this is the vibration we will be invoking.

You see, if we are spiritually clear, the Divine is always raining blessings upon us. Actually, spiritually, all gifts have already been given.

So why don’t they always seem to show up physically in our lives?

First, we have to spiritually be able to receive the blessings. This means opening and clearing our consciousness. That’s where this kind of work comes in. Our consciousness may be clouded due to karma. That karma may have been created yesterday, or in another life, or by our ancestors. So it takes certain skills to be able to identify and clear it.

Secondly, we have to develop our gifts and abilities consciously. We actually have to do all our conscious work. This means addressing our diet, really feeling and processing our emotions, even going to therapy (something that is routinely dismissed in the new age spiritual arena). This means studying, growing, working on our mind, getting to truly know ourselves, moving our body, getting into greater balance. This means knowing, owning, and developing our unique gifts.

These 2 aspects of receiving blessings — the Divine giving Itself to us, and us developing ourselves so we can receive it — are both necessary. One of these aspects influence the other. When you do spiritual clearing work for increased blessings, your spiritual bodies open up so that you can touch Spirit with your own consciousness. This is a type of awakening — a quickening of your personal spirit. This is what we mean by inspiration, and by feeling unlimited possibilities for your life.

Then, as you develop yourself, and bring your life into greater alignment with the Truth of Spirit, you become a co-creator. You are allowing Spirit, but you are also an active participant. You are doing your unconscious/subconscious work of clearing and allowing, but you are also doing all the conscious work you must do.

In this “rain of blessings” 5-day intensive, we are going to open up the floodgates of Spirit in her form as Abundance. Each day we are going to work on your karma, clearing blocks, and upgrading your consciousness, so you are more connected, more plugged-in, and hopefully more consciously feeling Spirit as your own being. From this place, you can more easily trust your process, develop yourself, and take emboldened action in alignment with your soul’s destiny.
